  • Family Therapy

  • Group Therapy

Our groups vary in price based on the type of group—see linked group page for more information but we currently are offering the following groups:
D&D Group Therapy (focusing on identity exploration and acceptance); Parents of Suicidal Youth; and Emotional Awareness

Our treatment specialties include:

  • Depression

Our specialized depression treatment takes an intergenerational approach to understanding the root causes of your depression. Our experienced therapists provide a compassionate and personalized approach, helping you navigate the roots of your depression and empowering you to break the dysfunctional patterns that keep you down.

  • Suicide and Self-harm

Our approach to treating suicidality (i.e., suicide ideation, suicide attempts, and self-harm) involves helping to identify and repair dysfunctional patterns that prevent you from getting the help you need before being in crisis. Our approach is to as best as possible understand and treat the root causes of suicide and help you build a life that is healthy, happy, and fulfilling—rather than simply focusing on keeping you alive.

  • Anxiety & PTSD

We utilize a holistic approach to treating anxiety and PTSD that includes: mindfulness, emotional processing, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and art therapy.

  • Grief & Loss

In bereavement and grief counseling we offer a non-judgmental space for you to process your feelings and experiences. Our approach to bereavement is more than helping to just move on—honor your lost loved one and creating new meaning for your life is our goal. While general grief and loss issues are relevant, we specifically focus on the grief and bereavement process after a death by suicide.

  • Discernment Counseling

This novel approach to couples therapy is specifically designed to help couples with a mixed-agenda—when one partner wants to stay together and the other does not. Discernment counseling is short-term (1-4 sessions) and is focused to help couples make decisions about their relationship with clarity and confidence. The end goal of these sessions to help couples decide if they want to (a) work on their relationship in couples therapy for a few months and then re-evaluate, or (b) move towards separation.

  • LGBTQ Youth & Family Issues

Our approach to family therapy is particularly relevant to addressing common issues that arise with queer youth growing up in a religious environment. Our work is aimed to help parents learn how to protect their children from harm and help youth feel their parents are a resource for them to learn how to be healthy, happy, and successful adults.
